2 quick things
in pipe dream style games, I like being able to hit a fast forward button while watching the pipes fill and having a mute button is good too, besides that, good on ya
ps, the elephant makes me happy (don't know why)
oh and why's the chicken have red ball on her head and not her beak
yep, i know and we should have made many more levels. The only problem is though that we had to make this game in one week.
The elephant makes us happy as well, thinks is because he is sweaty!
A good start for a game
Not a bad start. Here's a few tips of things you can do technique wise to improve upon this idea or your future ones. The images of the people you're shooting (especially the forest girl) have aliased edges to them. An easy way to fix this is to bring the image into photoshop (or whatever you use), put it on its own layer, cut it out from its background so it's nice and smooth around the edges, crop out any excess transparent parts of the image, and save as a PNG with 24-Bit transparency. You can import that png file into flash just like any other image, but it will be smoother around the edges. I don't know what vers. of flash you're using, I've got flash 8 pro. In your library, double-click your imported png's icon so it's properties window will pop up. Check "Allow Smoothing" and change compression to PNG/Gif. Then hit okay. The "Allow Smoothing" will make the image look better when resized on the screen. Do that for each image and your overall graphics will look a lot better.
